Industry And Audience Power Essay

  There is no doubt that the audience have more power over the media because they can write what ever they want on the internet and social media so they don't have to go up to the person to talk about the tweet that they wrote to the person that was recording the video.

 The music industry changed massively because before back then when there was no internet you have to  buy or  rent music discs from the record shop that you went to than after you have to give it back in a certain amount of time if  you rented the music discs and that certain amount of time wasn't very long because other people  might had rented the same music discs at  that  day and that  time . The  problem was that they couldn't stream music on  YouTube or apple music didn't exist back then now a days you can stream on what ever app you want such as apple music and Spotify.

The advantages for the audiences are that they can stream music and videos on any type of streaming platforms like  YouTube or TikTok which people use a lot these day when  they have any free or spear time  they have left or they have nothing to do and at the same time people are recording from there bedroom or living room  which is called bedroom banned which some people like watching and some people don't like watching the bedroom banned people and the people who records in the bedroom they might enjoy it or they might not enjoy it .

The disadvantages for the audiences are that they can write a comment  but it be taken of the internet such as if you write a mean comment on a video that has swear words the person can report you on  the app like YouTube the person can report  the person who wrote a  swear word comment and could get  banned and that will be good for the app because the app won't have anymore bad views  and people claiming that people are swearing  in the comments  so they won't leave a bad view which is good for the producers.

Since the rise of the internet people have stop  watching  normal television because their are new television called smart TV's which you can stream Netflix  and YouTube or Amazon prime which  producers make a lot of money out of if you subscribe to them which where they get their money from or  you go and buy a movie from them  online  which costs money to buy  and that they can get their money from  as well they can even get money from if they buy a series from the  app  and that where they can also  get their money from.

The rise of the internet made television watching more fun  because now you can stream  your favourite series on Netflix or amazon prime and your favourite newest movies on Netflix and amazon prime which is good for producers.

The disadvantages is that normal  television watchers  can't stream the normal  shows that they watch on TV because some TV shows that they use to watch like say Horrid Henry they could had gone Bankrupt because of Netflix or amazon prime.

The newspaper industry is going downwards  because people now a days are reading and buying less and less Newspapers because now you can watch it on your TV or you can read it of your phone which has a news app on your phone or you can read it of a social media app like twitter or Instagram or you can read it of  the news website but the only thing is that oid people or people who like to read the news paper will buy the news paper.

The advantages of the new paper industry is that oid people and people who read news paper still buy them  and this is good for the news paper industry because  they can produce more news paper and make some more profit out of it and people will still buy them.

The disadvantages are that the news papers industry have that people watch and read news of TV's and phones like the news app on your phone or read it of social media app like twitter or  Istagram which the news paper industry will make less profit and will be able to make less news papers.

The internet make the  audiences more because they can write a comment and they don't have pay for and they can write what ever they below the video or the  picture and they can like or dislike the picture or video which is very bad for the person who posted the video or picture they posted on the app or online.
