Gender representation in advertising
Back in the 1950 and 60's women were represented as weak and powerless because of there gender.
In the post 2000's women are represented having more power and having more strength in the adverts.
I think that representation of gender has change alot because of women being in adverts are shown having more strength and having more power in the modern days adverts.
This is a good start. You need to go through EACH advert and be really SPECIFIC about each one. E.g. you have to say things like: 'Nike uses a central image of a woman running and looking determined. This is a positive image of women as she looks strong and sporty"
